Amanda and Amy discussed their plans for marriage ahead of time, set a date, bought rings for one another, and all that was left was for each of them to ask the other to marry them. Megan and Joel were eager to take advantage of the beautiful white blanket as the perfect scene for their engagement photos. Halfway through the session, Megan told me “hey, so we brought beers to drink and sweatshirts to change into because we think that’s more ‘us’, is that okay?” Heck freaking yeah it is!! We walked through the park together to capture some of those precious “before photos”, the two exchanged vows just before golden hour with light peeking through the trees, and we got to enjoy the rest of golden hour at George Rogers Clark Park for their bride and groom portraits. We parted ways, the beautiful couple to enjoy barbecue with family and friends, and myself to watch some Clemson football. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with these sweet souls and cannot wait to watch their family grow!
