Megan + Joel // Snowy Winter Engagement Photos

Megan and Joel started their session snuggling their baby boy, Dax, in the middle of a snow covered path on a fuzzy blanket. They wanted to be sure to have family photos taken of the 3 of them together, and I am always more than happy to help couples create those precious memories with their little ones.

When Dax informed us that he was absolutely done taking photos (he was SUCH a trooper the whole time), we moved on to just couples photos to celebrate Megan and Joel’s engagement. We did all of the traditional coupley prompted photos, and then Megan had a question for me.

She asked “So we brought sweatshirts to change into and beers to drink, because we felt like that was more ‘us’, is that okay?” Um… heck freaking yeah it’s okay my friends. I love love love when couples want to integrate their relationship, hobbies, and personalities into the photos. I am all about capturing the memories you want to make and doing everything I can to make sure these photos are special and true to your story. We are all also aware by now that I am well versed in the art of beer drinking and sweatshirt wearing, so they were friends after my own heart with that specific request.

We had such a blast together cheersing beers and getting those big ol’ belly laughs from Megan and Joel. I cannot WAIT for their wedding day and to make more fun memories with them, their families, and their bridal party!
