This family has my whole dang heart, that’s it that’s all (to quote my good friend, Savannah Linn). Taylor reached out to me a while back requesting family photos that “show our family as we are always. Happy laughing with a little crazy.” I said okay sold- showing those true life, fun family moments are my bread and butter. We met at one of my favorite spots- Voice of America Park. Those 3 boys rolled out of the car full speed ahead. I looked at Taylor and said “Yeah, I’m just going to let them run”. She laughed and said “okay sounds good”.

Now, those boys had some energy. But- don’t get me wrong- they are some of the most well behaved, respectful kiddos that I have ever been around. It was a true joy to get to chase them up and down my favorite trail. They had so much fun, and always checked themselves as soon as they heard “THREE”. I felt so blessed for this small window into their wonderful, a little crazy, family dynamic. If all my family sessions work out like this from here on out, I will be a happy camper.

If you’re looking for the photog who will let your kiddos run and be there chasing behind them to catch the moments and the joy on their faces- I am your GIRL. We’ll get the Christmas card photo, of course, but for the most part you will get to take home memories of life actually happening around you and enjoying those moments with your family.
