What Do Midwestern Elopements Look Like?

There is a common misconception that an elopement has to take place in some mystical land, far far away. And by mystical I mean like the mountains in Colorado or somewhere along the coast. And yes, those are INCREDIBLY gorgeous locations for an elopement. I 100% fantasize about photographing out there some time in the neat future. But I think that it’s becoming incredibly important to showcase other options for elopements if it’s not feasible for you and your love to get out to these destinations. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re located somewhere in the Midwest (SEO, am I right?) and are trying to be inspired to fall in love with a Midwestern Elopement. I truly hope that the below photos can help to kind of convince you that midwestern elopements, Ohio elopements, can be just as gorgeous as those out in the lands far far away. Or maybe you’re someone who lives in these far far away lands, and you want your own far far away that isn’t right in your backyard. I believe personally that the midwest doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
