Wildflower Portrait Session
I met the beautiful Jamie when she attended my styled shoot back in June and we instantly clicked. She reached out to me a couple weeks later, after bouncing back and forth on instagram stories. Side bar- for anyone who has moved frequently in their adult lives, can you also attest to how essential social media is to making friends? The only reason that I have any friends here in Cincy is because of the photographer Facebook groups I joined. I have formed some of the best connections online, which honestly blows me away.
Anyway, Jamie messaged me and said she found a lavender field not too far away and wanted to see if I would go with her. I am always game for a new adventure, so I agreed and we decided that it would be fun to swap portraits of each other. Saddled down with our camera bags, Jamie and I trekked through some gorgeous tall grasses and crazy beautiful wildflower fields. After so long of being cooped up inside, it was fun to get out with a friend that I trusted in a safe and controlled environment.
I’m so thrilled to have met Jamie. We’re so similar its kind of scary and I already feel like I’ve known her forever. She has such a gentle, caring soul and gives off all of those iconic indie-rock vibes. It was so much fun running through wildflowers and taking photos with her. Check out some of her beautiful portraits below- doesn’t she look like she belongs on the cover of a CD?!
