Planning a Wedding? Check Out This Awesome Resource For Save the Date Templates
Alright, you got your awesome engagement photos taken- but now what do you do with them? The engagement photos (though I love them for a variety of other reasons) become a greeeaaaaat option for you to use to send out a reminder to wedding guests to be sure to save your date so that they can attend your big celebration. But finding the right place to order those save the dates can be pretty headache-inducing. For all my beautiful couples- I found an awesome resource for you- check out these save the date templates (I linked some of my favorites at the bottom).
To my sweet beautiful couples who have had to consider postponing their big day, Basic Invite also offers a variety of wedding postponement cards. Send out a little note to your guests to let them know the wedding will still be happening, just not on the originally planned date. You can make this a fun experience, take wedding postponement photos, have a sweet little date night to refocus on yourselves, and use those for the postponement cards! I know it’s a shitty situation and making lemonade out of these stupid COVID lemons can be tough, but please always remember that I love you and I’m here for you.
While I hopefully still have some of your attention, here’s a little more about Basic Invite!
Basic Invite is a great resource for brides for everything related to invitations: save the dates, invitation suites, envelopes, all of that good stuff. They also offer services to brides like wedding websites, address collection services, and easy seal and send invitation options.
Some important things to note about basic invite:
They offer almost unlimited color choices for your invitations. Brides probably know the struggle of finding what they feel would be the PERFECT invitation to send out to welcome guests to join in on their day, only the one color it never seems to come in is your wedding color. Basic Invite allows you to change the color of each element on the card, making it exactly how you want it. Included in those color options are over 40 different envelope color options so that you can make sure everything matches (for my Type-A sympathetic friends out there- you know this is a big deal heheh)
Over 900 invitation sets to help you get all of your various invitation needs in one place (and again make sure they MATCH). These sets include save the dates, wedding invitations, enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and they round everything out with matching thank you notes.
Seal and send wedding invitations are an all in one wedding invitation with a tear of RSVP postcard. These are for those of us (hi, me) who don’t want the hassle of addressing and stuffing envelopes- and the consensus is that these are a freaking game changer.
Their wedding websites are completely customizable, mobile-friendly, and once again you can set them up to match your wedding invitation. We all know that someday I’m going to be the girl who brands her whole wedding, and I know there’s other brides out there like me that this reeeeeaaaalllllly appeals to hahaha.
For those of you who are so dang indecisive (hi it’s me again), I found some options of my faaaavorite templates from their website that I think your photos would look amazing on:
To all my couples - I want to be here as a resource for you through the whole wedding planning process. Send me links to your wedding websites, options for your save the dates. Ask me questions, tell me what you’re stressed about. Let me be here for you! And in the meantime, I’ll keep digging for more great resources for you to help you plan your big day!
